Traffic stop leads to large fentanyl bust in Buckeye

BUCKEYE, Ariz. — A coordinated site visitors stop led to the seizure of virtually 400,000 fentanyl drugs over the weekend, the Buckeye Police Department introduced on Facebook.

Officers with the division labored with the Maricopa County Drug Suppression Task Force to conduct a site visitors stop close to SR 85 and Hazen highway on Sunday.

Authorities stated the bust led to one arrest and the seizure of roughly 395,000 M30 fentanyl drugs. Police did not launch the id of the one that was arrested.

The time period “M30” refers to the distinct marking on the small blue drugs which are used to imitate prescription oxycodone drugs, in accordance to the Drug Enforcement Agency.

Buckeye police at present has two investigators assigned to the drug-trafficking process drive, the division stated.
