Subway rider stabbed during argument on Upper West Side 1 train

NEW YORK — Police are trying to find the suspect behind a stabbing on the subway in a single day. 

It occurred round 11 p.m. on a northbound 1 train on the Upper West Side. 

Police mentioned three males have been driving the train when two of them obtained into an argument. One pulled out a weapon and stabbed the opposite within the leg and finger.

The 26-year-old sufferer’s good friend then pepper sprayed his attacker, who ran away as soon as the train reached the 72nd Street station.

“I’m hopeful, given the history of the NYPD in these cases, that they’ll be able to catch and apprehend him quickly,” mentioned Jack Niereenberg.
