Stabbing suspect in Cibolo captured as he tried to enter elementary school building

CIBOLO, Texas – A stabbing suspect who was working from police jumped a fence to get onto the property of an elementary school and was surprised with a Taser weapon as he tried to get inside, in accordance to the Guadalupe County Constable’s Office.

Precinct 3 Constable Michael Skrobarcek shared the information in a Facebook post on Thursday afternoon.

According to Skrobarcek, a person recognized as Malik Turner, 20, allegedly stabbed a feminine worker at a Zaxby’s restaurant on Borgfeld Road and Cibolo Valley Drive.

He ran from the scene towards a neighborhood. Cibolo police caught up with him on Cibolo Valley Drive close to the campus of O.G. Wiederstein Elementary School.

Turner put his arms up however then turned and jumped a fence to get onto school property, Skrobarcek stated.

Cibolo officers together with a constable chased him round a number of buildings.


The constable caught up with Turner in the courtyard playground close to a number of school entrances.

As Turner tried to run contained in the school, the constable deployed his Taser weapon after which took Turner into custody.

Skrobarcek stated that in the course of the chase, the constable used his radio to name for the lockdown on the school however his radio was inadvertently modified to Seguin police, so Seguin faculties had been locked down as a outcome.
