Smoothie King manager attacked by fired employee in Galleria area

The paperwork present that Keshia Lynette Christmas was informed she was fired earlier than the alleged assault passed off.

HOUSTON — Houston police are in search of a girl accused of kidnapping her former manager at Smoothie King after she was fired whereas selecting up a test.

Keshia Lynette Christmas, 34, is charged with three felonies together with aggravated kidnapping, theft with bodily damage, and retaliation after an assault.

The charging paperwork state that Christmas had a number of problems with not displaying up for work and that she would come in late. After a number of write-ups, she was fired on Dec. 12.

On Dec. 13, Christmas and her 15-year-old daughter went to the Smoothie King on Richmond Avenue near the Galleria to choose up a test when the manager informed Christmas that she was fired.

Christmas then began screaming and demanded the manager get her final paycheck. When she returned with the test, Christmas allegedly grabbed her by the neck, slamming her in opposition to the wall thrice.

Documents say Christmas’ daughter began screaming to let the girl go. That’s when Christmas allegedly informed the manager, “You are not going to ruin my Christmas.”

While demanding money from the girl, Christmas walked along with her throughout the road to a financial institution whereas holding onto the manager’s iPhone. The paperwork say Christmas informed the girl if she tried to run, she would throw her into oncoming site visitors. Christmas’ daughter was along with her as they walked throughout the road.

The lady then withdrew $200 and gave it to Christmas whereas fearing for her life, in keeping with the charging paperwork. Christmas then threw the iPhone that belonged to the manager again at her.

She additionally informed police that Christmas stole $7 from her purse, $34 from a retailer protected, and $40 from the money register whereas a witness was working.
