HOUSTON – More than 40,0000 textile fanatics are anticipated to attend the nation’s largest quilt occasion, the International Quilt Festival, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston, Nov. 3 to six.
More than 1,600 quilts and textile artwork might be on display, and there are quilt contests and quilting provides.
Hundreds of lectures and courses on quilting topics are scheduled; the admission to every lecture varies and isn’t included in the pageant entrance charge. The pageant might be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
