PHOENIX — The Phoenix Zoo has a brand new addition to its animal household.

Raja is a 3-year-old Sumatran tiger and got here to Arizona from the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Washington. At 312 kilos, the tiger is a powerful sight to see.

According to zoo officers, Raja was very calm throughout the journey to the Valley and is adjusting to his new environment shortly. Although, he’s nonetheless getting used to the hotter climate.
