Rudy Giuliani was attacked by a worker and referred to as a ‘scumbag’ whereas campaigning for his son at a Staten Island supermarket on Sunday afternoon.
The retailer worker was on shift on the time of the assault which noticed the previous New York City Mayor slapped on the again of the pinnacle.
The assailant was taken into custody whereas on the retailer. The suspect’s title and any expenses haven’t been made public.
Giuliani recounted the incident on WABC Radio in a while Sunday night.
‘I come out of the boys’s room and group of persons are round me, hugging me and kissing. All the sudden, I really feel a shot on my again. Like someone shot me!

Witnesses and legislation enforcement say he appeared shaken following the assault.
‘I used to be shocked. I used to be shoulder-to-shoulder with Rudy inside ShopRite. We’re speaking, and swiftly an worker got here out of nowhere and open-handedly slapped him within the again and said, “Hey, what’s up scumbag?”‘ Rugova-Johnson informed the New York Post.
‘[The attacker] was on responsibility on the time,’ she said. ‘The cops arrested him.’

A worker on the ShopRite retailer who answered the cellphone informed DailyMail.com that they had been ‘not allowed to say something’ in regards to the incident.
