Robert Kraft wants Kendrick Bourne out of Patriots ‘doghouse’

Bourne, who signed a three-year, $15 million take care of the Patriots in March 2021, had a strong season final year, recording 55 receptions for 800 yards and 5 touchdowns within the Josh McDaniels-led offense.

“There was a meeting prior to the Carolina Panthers game that he was just a smidge late to, I was told that resulted in the benching that night. All of those things, I think, combined have landed him in Matt Patricia’s doghouse,” Curran also said on “Gresh and Keefe.”

Bourne mentioned Sunday postgame that he’s “just waiting for my opportunity.”

“Just waiting for the coaches and just waiting for the moment for me to go in,” he said.

The Patriots will go to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.
