Police issue alert about restaurant, food stand burglaries along lakefront

CHICAGO (CBS) – Police are warning eating places and food stands along the lakefront of a string of burglaries which have occurred in current weeks.

As CBS 2’s Jackie Kostek reported, police stated there have been a minimum of 4 burglaries along the lakefront – largely on the Museum Campus – for the reason that finish of August.

Several business operators within the space advised Kostek they’ve been burglarized a number of instances this summer season.

Kostek spoke to a lady who for 13 years has operated the stand the place the burglar got here in via the roof. She stated her stand has been burglarized 5 instances this summer season alone.
