Phoenix Councilwoman Yassamin Ansari attends climate conference

As leaders from all over the world convened in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to debate climate change and its results on the surroundings, economic system, and world populations, a Phoenix councilwoman was there representing Arizona’s quest for climate resiliency.

Yassamin Ansari, who represents Phoenix District 7, traveled to the conference to debate climate impacts already being felt throughout the state, mitigation efforts and methods to adapt to the consequences of climate change.
