SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – Police are attempting to determine if two comparable instances of pepper spray incidents inside two Walgreens stores in Miami-Dade are related.

The first case occurred in Doral at Northwest forty first Street and 97th Avenue, round 10:30 a.m., Friday morning.

According to Doral Police, a shoplifter was approached by a retailer worker. That is when the suspect pepper-sprayed the worker and fled the scene on foot.

According to Miami-Dade Police, they have been responding to a theft name on the retailer.
