Parents arrested after autopsy reveals 2-year-old son died from extensive head harm, trauma, Wharton Co. Sheriff says

TEXAS – The mother and father of a 2-year-old boy who was discovered useless at residence have been arrested, in response to the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, Rebecca Lynn Hart was arrested on a capital homicide warrant in connection to 2-year-old Daniel Escamia’s loss of life. His father, Eddie Escamia, was charged with the endangerment of a kid with bodily harm. He was arrested on the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office with out incident together with Hart.

On May 9, deputies responded to a 911 name for a medical emergency concerning an unresponsive baby at a residence. At the time of the decision, deputies stated CPR was in progress. Daniel was taken by EMS to the El Campo Memorial Hospital, the place he was pronounced useless.

Investigators from the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers started investigating the kid’s questionable loss of life. Two kids, a 3-year-old lady and a 9-month-old boy, have been eliminated from the house because the investigation was pending.

After the sheriff’s office obtained a preliminary autopsy report that was performed on May 10, the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office decided that extensive harm and trauma to the head led to the loss of life of Daniel. It was additionally decided that his accidents occurred greater than as soon as and over a time frame. It is believed the kid obtained continued bodily abuse for a while, in response to a launch.

The investigation is ongoing.
