New York City crime rates see staggering 30.5% increase in July

According to NYPD statistics, crime in New York City elevated by 30.5%, with 11,619 crimes in July 2022 in comparison with 8,906 in July 2021. The NYPD acknowledges that rape continues to be underreported.
