MESA, Ariz. — The Mesa Police Department has reported making one of the “largest drug busts” in the agency’s history after officers not too long ago seized over 700,000 fentanyl capsules.
Three suspects had been taken into custody after officers allegedly found over $4 million price of medicine in their possession. The unlawful narcotics allegedly included 714,300 fentanyl capsules, three kilos of fentanyl powder, six kilos of methamphetamine, two kilos of heroin, and $17,000 in money.
The suspects had been recognized as 36-year-old Jesus Rojas Romero, 20-year-old Alex Ruiz and 22-year-old Christian Valles Castro.
