Man stabbed to death downtown this week identified as longtime sous chef Michael Byrnes

CHICAGO (CBS) — The man who was stabbed to death within the Loop earlier this week has been identified as Michael Byrnes, a longtime sous chef.

Police have been referred to as to the 100 block of West Van Buren Street, close to the LaSalle/Van Buren ‘L’ cease and Chicago Board of Trade, simply earlier than 11 p.m. Tuesday. They discovered Byrnes, 41, with stab wounds. 

Byrnes was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the place he died.

The different was carrying a grey hooded jacket, blue denims, and black and white footwear, and probably had his arm in a white cast or wrap.
