King Charles III through the years

Before he turned King Charles III, the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II held the title Prince of Wales for longer than anybody in historical past.

Charles ascended to the throne following the dying of his mom, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, on Sept. 8, 2022. After seven many years as inheritor to the queen, King Charles III would now rule.
