Packed to the Rafters star Jessica McNamee has returned to Australia after working in Hollywood for nearly a decade.

And on Sunday, the 36-year-old actress stated she made the resolution to relocate back Down Under so she might work with Australia’s exceptionally gifted movie crews.

‘The Australian crews are like no different. The expertise pool is nuts,’ she advised the Herald Sun.

The Mortal Kombat star added she grew to become homesick whereas residing in America throughout the Covid lockdowns.

Jessica went on to say Australian productions had the edge over American ones in a single essential space which made her resolution to relocate a lot simpler.

‘In Australia there are robust roles being created for girls of their 30s and 40s. In the States the focus is on ladies of their 20s which is a bummer,’ she stated. 

It comes as Jessica joins the cast of the second season of Tim Michin’s Foxtel collection Upright.

She made her mark in Hollywood by starring in the 2021 large display screen reboot of Mortal Kombat.

Last year she revealed she was not allowed to play the online game the movie is predicated on as a teen, as her dad and mom deemed it too violent.

‘But I did play it at my cousin’s home and I did not inform my dad and mom; they nonetheless do not know,’ she advised The Daily Telegraph.

Jessica stated she just lately watched the movie on the large display screen and acknowledged the motion sequences are breathtaking.
