Houston Thanksgiving capturing: 2 useless, 2 hurt in Spring Branch

A person and a girl have been killed and one other man and a teen have been critically injured in a capturing in northwest Houston on Thanksgiving.

HOUSTON — Houston police are trying to find a gunman who burst right into a Spring Branch residence on Thanksgiving and shot four people, leaving two dead.

It occurred on Baggett Lane, which is simply south of the intersection of Long Point and Wirt roads.

A person and lady have been killed whereas one other man and a teen have been critically injured in the capturing. Police stated the capturing occurred simply because the household and mates in the house completed consuming Thanksgiving dinner.

“The suspect who is known to be the ex-husband of the deceased female came in through the back door and just started firing at the people inside the house,” HPD Asst. Chief Patricia Cantu stated.

Cantu stated the individuals inside the house then ran to the rooms for security because the gunman reloaded his weapon to proceed firing.

Police did not establish the suspect by identify, however stated particulars will probably be coming later immediately.

“We do know it’s the ex-husband of the deceased,” Cantu stated. “We don’t know where he’s at. We’re going to be asking for the public’s help to help us capture this man.”

Members of the HPD Crime Scene Unit have been on the residence Friday eradicating luggage filled with unidentified objects. 

A close-by resident stated crime is uncommon in that neighborhood. 

“We heard what sounded like fireworks … but there were so many,” Hunter Montgomery stated. “We went inside. Literally, a couple minutes later, just siren after siren after siren.”

Montgomery stated they went outdoors to see what was occurring.

“When we discovered that he was nonetheless at giant, so to talk, we bought inside, locked all of the doorways, put the alarms on,” he said. “It’s scary to assume that may occur to anyone.”

The names and relationships of the victims haven’t been launched.
