Home and Away star Sophie Dillman has revealed she is ‘petrified’ of getting starstruck at the Logies subsequent week. 

The actress is nominated for the Silver Logie in the Most Popular Actress class alongside co-star, Ada Nicodemou. 

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph this week, Sophie, 29, admitted: ‘I’m petrified.’

‘And I’m not excellent at having a recreation face both, you will note me starstruck and unable to communicate in coherent sentences,’ she continued. 

Sophie stated it was an honour to simply get nominated after taking part in the character of Ziggy Astoni in Summer Bay since June, 2017. 

‘They are a few of the largest names in Australian tv,’ Sophie stated of the different actresses nominated in the class.

‘I by no means even thought I’d find a way to meet these ladies in my life, not to mention have my identify alongside them so it’s really the nomination that’s the huge factor,’ she stated.

Sophie is nominated in opposition to Deborah Mailman for Total Control, and comic Kitty Flanagain in Fisk. 

‘They are such function fashions and such inspirations for me that it’s like being a little bit child and meeting your heroes,’ Sophie added.

The Logies is shaping up to be considered one of the largest occasions this year. 

Rogue Traders are set to return to the stage for the first time in seven years. British singer Calum Scott will even carry out.  

The Voice Australia winner Lachie Gill will open the day’s leisure performing his debut single Wasted Time.

Other performers embrace Queensland musician Gaudion and alt-pop singer Sofia Isella.   

The Logies will happen at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre inside The Star Gold Coast Entertainment Resort precinct. 

The TV WEEK Logie Awards will probably be broadcast on Channel 9 on Sunday June 19
