He was arrested on April 12, 2021, after he allegedly murdered his housemate, Steven Howells, on the Tilda Manor group residence on Wildhorse Drive in Gilbert.

On April 23, 2021, 11 days after the group residence killing, MCSO information present that Lambeth and the opposite inmate in his cell have been simply launched from the psychological well being unit.
