Gavin Newsom spurs presidential run speculation with major Florida ad buy

California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s marketing campaign has purchased ad time in Florida for the July 4th weekend, prodding speculation about his presidential aspirations.

The Democrat’s marketing campaign reserved $105,000 price of spots on Fox News within the Sunshine State to be able to position himself as an alternative choice to standard Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, in response to SF Gate.

His press secretary, Christina Pushaw, referenced the ad buy on Twitter Monday.

“Californians… aren’t you glad you pay 60% of your income in taxes to bankroll fun projects like this?” she wrote.

Both males are dealing with November re-election votes of their respective states.
