The attorney for Gabby Petito’s dad and mom is alleging that the mom of Petito’s suspected killer Brian Laundrie offered to lend him a shovel after the slaying in Wyoming — whereas her authorized crew says it was written earlier than the younger couple left on an ill-fated cross-country street journey.
Pat Reilly, the Petito household attorney, wrote to Laundrie’s lawyer Matt Luka in a Dec. 5 letter relating to the scope of the paperwork that Laundrie’s dad and mom ought to hand over in a civil lawsuit.
The correspondence between Reilly and Luka turned public document after the previous connected it as an exhibit in a Dec. 20 courtroom submitting, and seems to reference a letter that Reilly had beforehand sought to acquire over the summer time.

Roberta Laundrie’s letter was undated, he added, however “the content of the letter seems to indicate that it was written after Gabby’s death.”

He mentioned Reilly was making an attempt to “further sensationalize” the case and “taking unrelated comments out of context.”
Reilly didn’t instantly reply to Fox News Digital’s requests for remark. Neither did Luka, one other Laundrie attorney based mostly in Florida.
