HOUSTON — Five youngsters lost their father Thursday evening in a horrific accident on the North Freeway in Spring.
A tire flew off a big truck on I-45 north near Louetta, bounced off the hood of the sufferer’s automobile and crashed through his windshield. The pressure of the influence sheared off half of the car’s roof.
The driver, later recognized as 32-year-old Lee Simmons Jr., died in entrance of his 11-year-old son who was driving within the backseat.

Authorities stated the massive rig driver stayed on the scene till officers arrived. It’s unclear proper now if fees shall be filed.
Christina stated their household shall be taking motion to make sure there’s justice for Lee.
Meanwhile, deputies say the truck’s upkeep is being reviewed to find out if it was an accident or if somebody was at fault.
