Downtown Inglewood Station – Metro’s sixth Okay-Line train hub – is dedicated – Daily News

Local VIPs, together with LA Metro board member and Inglewood Mayor James Butts, LA Metro board member Jacquelyn Dupont-Walker and LA Metro CEO Stephanie Wiggins and others gathered for the dedication of the Downtown Inglewood Station on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The station is a part of the the soon-to-be operational Okay Line, initially referred to as the Crenshaw Line.

The new 8.5-mile, $2.1 billion train line, which serves West Adams, Jefferson Park, Baldwin Hills, Leimert Park, Hyde Park, Inglewood and Westchester will open someday this fall.

Also, the Okay Line will hook up with the Metro E Line (Expo), which travels between downtown LA and Santa Monica.

An precise opening date has not been launched, mentioned Patrick Chandler, LA Metro spokesman.
