Comedian Mo Amer hosts shopping spree for Houston fire victims

The star of Netflix’s hit sequence “Mo” helped victims of a large 2-alarm fire within the Alief space.

HOUSTON — Alief’s personal Mo Amer hosted a shopping spree for households who lost all the things throughout a devastating two-alarm fire again in August.

The comic and star of the Netflix sequence “Mo” hosted households on the Academy Sports and Outdoors on Highway 6 Saturday morning.

Amer, who grew up in Kuwait earlier than his household fled to Houston in the course of the Gulf War, helped a bunch of youngsters from the condominium advanced with the assistance of Alief ISD.
