Collins family funerals: Four boys, grandfather remembered

Today, a neighborhood is remembering and honoring 5 members of the Collins family, who investigators say had been killed by an escaped inmate.

HOUSTON — Today, family, buddies and a neighborhood will say goodbye to 4 boys and their grandfather who investigators say had been killed by an escaped inmate in Centerville earlier this month. 

Mark Collins, 66, together with 18-year-old Waylon Collins, 16-year-old Carson Collins, 11-year-old Hudson Collins and 11-year-old Bryson Collins will probably be remembered throughout a funeral service at Champion Forest Baptist Church on Stuebner Airlines, starting at 10 a.m.

The funeral service will probably be live-streamed on this web page, in addition to on Houston Northwest Church’s Facebook page and the church’s website.

The family burial will probably be personal.
