Broncos basic supervisor George Paton vouched for Hackett earlier this week, noting the criticism the coach has confronted is “unprecedented.”

“He’s been in this for seven games as a head coach. The scrutiny he’s faced is unprecedented. We’ve had four primetime games so he’s had to learn in front of the entire world,” Paton stated, according to Denver7’s Troy Renck.

The Broncos, who improved to 3-5, will go to the Titans on Sunday, Nov. 13, after their bye week.
