Car dealership employee charged after car veers off street, smashes into Elmhurst home during test drive

ELMHURST, Ill — An 18-year-old man is charged after the automobile he was test driving veered off the street and slammed into an Elmhurst home on Monday, in keeping with police.

Police mentioned the driving force, Vladyslav Vityk, faces costs of Reckless Driving, Disobeying a Traffic Control Device, Improper Lane Use, and Driving Too Fast for Conditions. Vityk was transported to the Elmhurst Police Department, processed, after which launched on bond.

The crash occurred simply earlier than 1 p.m. within the 700 block of Junior Terrance. Upon arrival, officers discovered a white 2012 BMW X6 M was driving at an extreme velocity, lost management, and crossed into a residential yard earlier than placing the entrance going through storage of a home.
