Breeze Airways Debuts First-Ever Transcon Service From Westchester

HARRISON, NY — Westchester air vacationers’ choices for avoiding LaGuardia Airport simply received a complete lot extra inviting — and reasonably priced.

Breeze Airways, the low-fare airline based by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, of JetBlue fame, added two new routes from Westchester County Airport (HPN) on Wednesday: nonstop to each Los Angeles and Sarasota-Bradenton, FL, beginning at round $109 and $74 a technique, respectively.

Just 5 months after its first flight from HPN, Breeze now flies to 9 locations from the airport, greater than another airline.

  • Charleston, SC
  • Jacksonville, FL
  • Los Angeles, CA (Daily, beginning November 2, from $109 a technique);
  • Nashville, TN
  • Norfolk, VA
  • Sarasota-Bradenton, FL (3x weekly, beginning November 2, from $74 a technique)
  • Savannah, GA
  • Vero Beach, FL

BreezeVia Flights are supplied (one cease/no airplane change) to:

“As a former resident, I know first-hand that HPN is the most convenient New York-area airport for many travelers,” Breeze Airways’ Founder David Neeleman stated. “However, before Breeze, there was very limited commercial service, especially nonstop flights. Now Westchester and Fairfield County residents can save time and money when flying to the West Coast and beyond.”

Breeze presents a la carte and bundles choices that run the gamut from all-inclusive first-class, or “Nicest” Bundle, to a coach seat with per bag charges. The “Nicest” bundle is barely accessible on flights operated with an Airbus A220-300 plane and features a First Class-style seat in a two-by-two configuration.

Seat pitch for a Standard Economy seat is 30 inches on the A220s and 31 inches on the E-195s, whereas seat pitch for Extra Legroom is 32 inches on the A220s and between 34 and 39 inches on the E-195s, relying on the row chosen. First Class seats function 39 inches of seat pitch, 20.5 inches of seat width, and particular options, corresponding to a footrest, for added consolation and in-seat AC energy and USB/C ports.

And maybe better of all, Breeze famously doesn’t cost change or cancellation charges as much as quarter-hour previous to departure.
