BCSO temporarily taking over Grey Forest patrol following resignation of police chief, deputy chief of police

SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office helps the City of Grey Forest patrol following the resignation of each their police chief, deputy chief of police and two sergeants in response to Mayor Mandi Waldrop. 

The City of Grey Forest has requested regulation enforcement presence from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office for an interim interval.

During this interim interval, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office will present 24/7 protection for the City of Grey Forest and can assume all patrol duties.

At current, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety and Communications Center dispatches emergency and non-emergency requires the Grey Forest Police Department, which makes this interim response seamless.

Grey Forest Mayor Amanda Waldrop launched a press release to KENS 5 saying:
