Assault in West Bexar County leads to 3 arrests after women smash patrol vehicle window, try to flee

SAN ANTONIO – Three women are in custody after they allegedly smashed a patrol automotive window and tried to flee when deputies responded to an assault name early Thursday morning, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office stated.
The incident occurred round 3:30 a.m. at a house in the 10100 block of Round Ridge, not removed from Shaenfield Road and Wildhorse Parkway.
According to deputies, they responded to the house after receiving a name about an 18-year-old girl allegedly hitting her boyfriend with a Mason jar.
Deputies stated once they arrived, two of the girl’s buddies confirmed up and so they tried to depart with the suspect. That’s when, deputies say, as they left, somebody picked up an object and smashed the again window of a deputy’s patrol vehicle.
BCSO stated the deputy went after the women and radioed their description to different deputies. Another deputy noticed the automotive and acquired it to cease on Shaenfield Road, however as he was taking them into custody, the 18-year-old suspect slipped out of {the handcuffs} and jumped again into the automotive and tried to flee.

Deputies say the girl went up on a curb and stopped the automotive towards a tree. She was arrested on the scene. The girl was checked out by EMS, after she claimed she was damage, BCSO stated.
The teenager now faces prices associated to each the assault and the escape. The unique driver who picked her up is charged with reckless driving and probably evading, BCSO stated.
