Anthea Turner gave her followers an replace after she was struck down with a flu which left her feeling like a dagger was piercing her chest when she coughed.

The tv presenter, 62, took to Instagram on Friday to share an image of herself as she wrapped up heat in a gray onesie whereas she rested her hand on her brow.

She wrote: ‘Anyone else feeling like loss of life? Xmas flu lastly introduced me down, each time I cough a dagger pierces my chest.
