5 San Diego Students Win Sustainability (*5*) From Wheelhouse

SAN DIEGO, CA — Five college students in San Diego County have been awarded scholarships in recognition of their management, public service, and want to make a sustainable distinction of their faculties and communities, Wheelhouse Credit Union introduced Tuesday.

In an effort to help the subsequent era of environmental path blazers, Wheelhouse Credit Union gave $1,000 scholarships to 5 college-bound college students via its Sustainability College Scholarship Program.

The 2022 scholarship recipients are:

“Part of our focus on sustainability is supporting our next generation of environmental champions who share our passion to protect our natural resources and help our beautiful city thrive,” stated Wheelhouse CEO and president Lisa Paul-Hill.

“We are so inspired by the passion, commitment and energy each of these students bring to their sustainability mission. We are honored to support these outstanding students and help them continue their great work.”

Wheelhouse’s Sustainability College Scholarship Program was created in 2005 to acknowledge conscientious highschool leaders in San Diego County who share the credit score union’s ardour to positively affect the neighborhood via eco-friendly initiatives to assist maintain the atmosphere and resources for generations to return. Since the creation of this system, Wheelhouse has awarded $106,000 in scholarships, in keeping with the credit score union.
